I still have the Nel 4-inch Mega Man and also wanted the set that had their version of Cut Man, but this looks like a good, affordable alternative.

Well if you get a little super glue in the hinge of the scissor, you just work the hinge until it dries, it wont be stuck in one pose, i stead it will just add friction

Reach out to Jada, supposedly they have great customer service for QC issues. Personally I wish it came with a 2nd cutter so he can display throwing with one & one on his head with the other.

Contact their customer service, you never know what they may do for you ... I've had great sevice out of Hasbro and Playmobil.

How do these compare with D-Arts Mega Man and Bass scale-wise? Will they match in the same display, or I shouldn't bother?

These go for a more classic art style and design, while the D-Arts are closer to the Mega Man 8 style, slimmer, more anime. They don't really mesh together.
