GI Joe is a playset-centric line. There's no way that they are going to be able to sell enough 1/12 scale vehicles to make it worth it. I'm in for a 1/12 VAMP though.
@CanadianPale5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, 1/12th scale makes no sense for a property like G.I. Joe. I'd rather they went smaller (like Mega Bloks' surprisingly well-articulated mini-figures) so as to make larger sets (like the U.S.S. Flagg) more practical.
@yinzertoyguy36785 жыл бұрын
Said it once before...but a lot of 6 inch collectors don't care about vehicles and playsets that much...we just want the characters in 6 inch form. I'd wager most Marvel Legends collectors would jump in a 6 inch GI Joe line...I know I would, and couldn't care less about large vehicles. It would still be pretty easy to release some of the smaller vehicles down the line, like the RAM, CLAW, FANG, etc...

Really love the channel, even though I don’t collect any action figures (which seems to be 99% of your content), it brings back a lot of memories of my youth. One toy line that I really had a blast with, was Schaper Stompers 4x4 vehicles. Just a relatively cheap (~5 bucks) plastic bodied monster truck powered by a AA battery with working lights, but they were fun. I can remember having a dozen different ones and having several taken away for bringing them to school. All my friends had them and we would have races and customize them. I never was fortunate enough to get the play sets, but who needed one when an encyclopedia or two on your unmade bed was a great off road course. After looking online and seeing how much vintage ones are going for (up to and beyond $100.00), I guess I am not the only one that enjoyed them. Thanks for allowing us to relive our childhoods. BTW, you did inspire me to buy my first action figure, I just ordered a Revoltech Boba Fett Samurai. I am sure it will only lead me down a deep hole of no money and wanting more and more, thanks 😁.

Mattel's "Snap and Attack" line of Batman figures really made me think of MASK. There were a few Batman figures that had a suit of armor (sometimes with a helmet) that you could snap down over top of the figure, much like how the MASK team gets their gear slid down over them in the intro. The technology's there, just need the marketing, research, and find a studio to make a cartoon. Honestly I would opt for a feature-length animated movie, and then at least if it doesn't sell there isn't a cliffhanger/missing season. The new Cyberverse Warrior Soundwave reminds me of Visionaries, he has a big pink energy Laserbeak that springs from his chest. Not the same as a hologram, but it has the feeling of the animated commercials where the animals would come from the black panels. It would be cool to see Visionaries toys that had spring-loaded summonable creatures like that.

I used to own the green Centurion, it was one of my favorite toys, I also remember going to my cousin's house to play with his MASK toys, my brother had the brontosaurus Dino Riders

...I'd hire you, buddy. Just watched the OTHER top 10 from a few years before this one. Gotta appreciate the edits...and yes, still M.A.S.K. Think I've watched 12 hours worth of your content on last few days, thanks y'all!

Has Cadillacs & Dinosaurs been covered on TG yet? Great cartoon based on Mark Schultz's Xenozoic Tales comic. Short lived, but it did get a toy line.

@@stephenjwarnecki7367 You are correct sir! I recently just finished collecting the original run of comics. Got the first issue autographed by Schultz a few years ago at a small con in Ohio. Fantastic story, but it remains unfinished to this day.

I would like to see also Bravestarr and Jem. Those are two small toy lines that would be easy to collect.

Love the D&D toys and the cartoon. Played real D&D a couple of times but really thought it was lame. Definitely not for me. But the toys were so nice.
