I put these tires on my f250 gas last summer. Very quiet. Went through our first snow this winter and performed extremely well. Tested it on snow/ice with hard breaking and it slowed with very little slip. So far we are very pleased with these tire. Only have about 10k on them with little wear.

I've had the AT3's since August 2021 on my '19 Ram 1500. Great for everyday use, excellent traction and handling on dry and wet and quieter than some other comparable brands/tires. Recently got our first significant snowfall (about 20 cms over 12 hours). Wet heavy snow and these tires handled incredibly well. Was out driving all day for work and these handled and braked great through the snow. Very impressed. Would highly recommend.

Just came home from Discount Tire after getting these installed. All I can say is WOW......I liked the feel of them so much that I took a drive around town, out onto the gravel roads (Iowa), and up a couple "level B" tractor paths (minimum maintenance roads for farm vehicles). I went to the OE diameter of my tires, the rims on the truck were from another vehicle, and were smaller than OE. So I was able to restore the OE outside diameter of my tires that came with the truck originally. Love the tread, love the quiet ride- they do sing a little on the highway when going 70mph. The tires are a a bit cushier, and absorb impact so much better than my junky coopers I had on the truck. Thanks for the review, it was very helpful!

Recently, I installed the Toyo Open Country AT3s on my GMC 2500HD truck and hated them! They would not balance and made my truck bounce all over the road. I couldn't stand driving my truck because the Toyo's were so uncomfortable to drive. I went back to Discount Tire and had them replaced with Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's and I love them. The ride difference was like night and day with the Cooper's overall ride comfort being much smoother and quieter. I'm sure that Toyo makes a good tire, but, deciding to change over to the Cooper's made driving my truck a joy again. Plus, the Cooper's are engineered and built in the USA!

I have a 2023 Jeep (JT) Gladiator. I found a new set of black Rubicon 5 spoke Jeep wheels. I believe the wheels are new take offs from a 2024 Rubicon. I’ve owned somewhere around 30 Jeeps CJ3A, CJ, YJ, TJ, XJ, JKU, but this is my first JT Gladiator. I have had several full on race Jeeps and ran 300 sand drags with Paddle tires on rear with old school Desert Dogs on front. (showing my age with Desert Dogs). I’m building a 1/8 mile race Jeep CJ3A flat fender with a Gen 3 Hemi a Whipple Supercharger with a TKX 5 speed to race in the Daily Driver class at our local drag strip. So I know my way around a Jeep. All my Overland and daily driver street jeeps has always had BFG A/T’s, now the last 10yrs I run the BFG K02’s. The was good in snow, mud, rocks with great street manners. I just installed a set of LT285/70R17 ToYo Open Country AT3’s on advice from a friend that got me into racing Jeeps back in the 80’s in High School. He has a summer home that the gate of Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan. He has a garage full of Jeeps. Some with Big Engines on Paddles. But he told me to try the AT3’s on my Daily Gladiator. Wow!! With 15psi this is the best Sand tire I ever ran on my Street Jeep. I drive my JT from Southern Indiana at 80mph on the interstate. We get to his shop outside Silver Lakes gate and I Air down to 12-15psi. We run the dunes all weekend and then I air up to 40PSI to drive home. I have never seen a tire work in sand like the AT3’s besides Paddles. They are amazing in sand. I’m excited to see what they do in the snow. My buddy claims I will never buy another set of K02’s again. So far I’m very impressed with the ToYo AT3 tires. Even on my heavy 4700lb Gladiator…🇺🇸🦅🏁🔧🛻😊

35/12/5 R17 - LOVE them. Had AT2 and got over 65,000 miles out of the AT2. The AT3 are smoother, less noise and great traction. Toyo did a great job in taking the time to get this improvement right - even when the other companies were pushing out their AT3 versions, Toyo waited and got it right. I love these tires and unless Toyo comes out with a AT4, there is nothing that Compares to these. Only thing I would like is more side wall treads. This would help us that do 95% of our driving on roads, but then get into muddy patches - going through gates, gaps and drains. If Toyo would put their MT side walls on the AT3 - WINNER FOR LIFE.

@heywood The RTs don't run true they have caused vibration since new and rebalancing multiple times doesn't help. They measure 33.5" diameter, 10.6" width, just like the 50% greater cost BFG KO2. Very happy with the purchase, and how they fit my truck! but they definately sing their own tune at highway speeds. It's a high-pitched tune very similar to what you might hear when running next to a loaded 18-wheeler when up on the highway. Other than that, I'm very happy with them. They'll see their first desert use later this month.

I drove them to Tuktoyaktuk and back, 8000kms, 1800 of that was the dirt highways in the Yukon and Northwest Territories. Excellent tires! No blow outs, incredible traction. The first winter, the tires were incredible in the snow, this winter we’re finishing up, not so good. I get it, there almost finished after 50,000kms. I guess you can say I tested these tires Thoroughly. Lots of dirt roads. I have nothing but good things to say about the AT2’s and even wrote a brief article about my experience with the tires, for 4wdrive magazine. Im definitely planning on getting a set of AT3’ in the next few months because of my experience with the AT2’s.

Living in Wisconsin you'll never know what the weather will be as it changes every 15 minutes. So, I have been a Toyo fan for year's. Wanted to switch my brand and tried a new set of KO2's. Interesting, I'm outfitting 2 trucks with new tires. I was going to go KM3 on my weekend toy which only sees PNW mountains & thought I'd try Toyo ATIIIs on my other truck which drives all across the West but spends most of it's offroad time in Southern UT or CO. I've had ATIIs about 150,000 miles on 3 diffferent trucks and was very pleased with them in wet and snow as well as offroad. The ATIIIs seem like a slam dunk for the travelling truck, now I'm beginning to doubt my KM3 choice for the toy. None of this is rock crawling, just "overlanding".

My last set of tyres were BFG KO2 and I am over 40,000 km into Toyo AT2s (look forward to the 3s). The Toyos absolutely eat the BFG both on and off road. Quieter on road but dramatically better off road over the same hard tracks in similar conditions the Toyos gripped, no slip or slide compared to the BFGs that, well made it but with much more “effort” scrabbling and sliding compared to Toyo. At 42,000km the AT2s are only just starting to show wear. Many others are reporting well over 100,000km from the Toyos. I’ll only get Toyo again, either AT3 or RT.
