Amazing video, very well put together! And of course, awesome build!! I took my 2ZJ apart two years ago to do a head gasket. I didn't go for any performance upgrades since the engine sits in my GS300 which is for now the family vehicle. I did however take everything off of it to reseal and clean it off from the oil leaks it had. One mistake I made was that I put the upper oil pan on before the oil pump went on... I guess I wasn't paying attention or something lol. Learned my lesson. It was definitely an amazing learning experience and I found that those engines are easier to work on than I thought!

@TunerFaction
@TunerFaction 2 жыл бұрын
First of all, congrats on building your 2jz man! That's awesome! As far as torque wrenches go, you can go digital or clicker type, it's really your opinion. I went with the clicker type and I have listed the ones below that I bought. One is an in-lb one and the other is ft-lbs. Hope this helps! www.amazon.com/LEXIVON-4-Inch-Torque-2-26-22-6-LX-181/dp/B07M68FY3X/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=Torque%2BWrenches%2Bin-lb&qid=1652931212&s=power-hand-tools&sr=1-1-spons&smid=A3CTCSJRE9G6AY&th=1 www.amazon.com/LEXIVON-2-Inch-Torque-33-9-338-9-LX-184/dp/B07MKSJ4SG/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?c=ts&keywords=Torque%2BWrenches&qid=1652931199&s=power-hand-tools&sr=1-2-spons&ts_id=559968&th=1

@TunerFaction
@TunerFaction 2 жыл бұрын
@@kenyattasamuels5714 That's great you are doing research on the different brands my man! I know Snap-On is great but most people don't have that kinda cash lol. For the most part, the cheaper wrenches are pretty accurate and you don't need to be spot on for a lot of the torques on the 2jz, most things are very forgiving as long as you are close. Now don't get me wrong, you do have to be CLOSE to the proper torque spec for all the things you torque down, but you don't need to be within 0.001 ft-lb lol. Basically what I'm saying is there is no need to spend a small fortune getting the highest quality torque wrenches!
