I’ve had these installed on mine for 2 months(stage 2r kit) and really dig them. It should last longer than those rebuildable suspension on the market. For the money it’s hard to beat. I have kdss and I did not get a lean that everyone is saying on the forums, well my driver side is higher by 1/8 of an inch but thats nothing to me. Also wasn’t hard to install as some forums stated as well.

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you like your setup as well. They look to be constructed pretty well so I'm hoping to get at least 30k-40k miles out of them. Fingers crossed.

@@PaulVang agreed, they are well built, same here I hope to get around 40k. I just got my 4Runner last year, wanted a budget friendly kit for now, once they go bad that I can upgrade. Only thing is I couldn’t get my caster back into spec, have upper control arms on the way and I hope that does the trick.

@@jeff_k1493 How high is your lift? My understanding is anything under 2.5" should allow the stock uca's to work fine.
@jeff_k14939 ай бұрын
@@MrSatchelpack 2.5”. Yea lots of people say under 2”-2.5” shouldn’t need uca. But that is not the case with mine, each vehicle will not be the same, I’ve tried aligning mine 3 times at work and could not get faster to move more than 1-1.5 degree(maxing out on the eccentric bolt) without camber being out. I wish they would adjust to spec cuz I sure didn’t want to spend that extra money on uca.

Nice vid...Could you adjust to less than 2 inch? maybe 1.5 inch?
@PaulVang13 күн бұрын
I would think it's possible since I can still go down on the coil rings about an inch worth of thread however I have not tried it.

The lift numbers don't really make sense until I went back and looked at what you removed from the truck, you had an OEM shock with a spacer lift before?
@PaulVang6 ай бұрын
That is correct. I had spacers in the front.

Hey man, i was thinking of getting a mild lift (1.75 front and 1 rear) to fit 275 in the future with bilstein 5100. Some ppl say bilsteins r a bit rough. Do you think going with Eibach stage 1 will make a difference? I will have to get 2.5 inch lift up front though right?
@PaulVang2 ай бұрын
I have bilsteins in the back and some heavy duty Toytec 2.0rc springs. It's stiffer than stock in the rear but I like it like that. I think the Eibach stage 1 will work fine although I would recommend the eiback pro 2.O that are adjustable so you can adjust the front up or down as needed.
@taifmunsur2 ай бұрын
@@PaulVang I do agree with you, but I almost feel like the might be overkill for me give I don't want crazy lift probably ever. just want to gain that leveled look. Eibach stage 2 will cost about 1k more and I could totally use that for rims that I like.
@PaulVang2 ай бұрын
@@taifmunsur It might be overkill. I think the Eibach stage 1 might work for you but I don't know enough about them to suggest them. I know the bilsteins rear shock works fine in my car.

Thanks for your video and review! I'm going with Eibach also. Can you tell me your tire and wheel sizes and wheel offset? Thanks!

I had toytec hd springs in the back while the front had block inserts. I decided to change the block inserts for a full coilover.

How many inches would you recommend setting the front for a slight rake?
@PaulVang5 ай бұрын
My setup that way it is has a rake already but if you are looking to lower it a bit, Id say give the coilover a1/4to 1/2 turn and see how that looks on your setup.

Is this an overkill for 99% city driving ?
@PaulVang6 ай бұрын
It's really not needed for a stock car. I only purchased it because I'm getting ready to load up the front end with a winch and will need to adjust the front end to the additional weight.

Was there an issue with your setup?
@gulu-cat6 ай бұрын
@@PaulVang These are perfect for stock weight vehicles. Once you add more pre-load, the performance of this coil over will decrease. Eibach customer support told me that it will have less rebound travel in that case.
@PaulVang6 ай бұрын
@@gulu-cat That is good info to know. I will have not done anything else to the front end but I'll have to pay attention to the performance when I do add weight in the front.
@gulu-cat6 ай бұрын
@@PaulVang Pay attention to its down travel at full droop. The eibach coilover at full droop is limited by the shock length. If your UCA is far away from the coil spring at full droop, that means you can use a longer shock to get more down travel.
