Industrial Metal Supply (L.A. Sunland, Orange County? Sand Diego, Phoenix & Tucson) has bins of aluminum cut offs and rod stock. You could probably get some of the smaller spacers by getting something from the bin and then hack-sawing to the proper length and drilling it. No clue as to hardness spec, but it doesn't look critical, at least for the skidguard. Thanks for making videos during the quarantine. Maybe I spent too many years teaching middle school but my first thought was, "Man, governor Newsom just grounded ALL of us." (btw There's no statute of limitations for being a rotten kid--sooner or later they catch up to you. Me? I had to teach middle school for ten years. Not one second of that time was the irony of my situation not readily apparent.)
@PhoRunner4 жыл бұрын
My longer bolt seems fine. Not really sure those spacers are needed. The metal is thin and can bend a little so I made it work. It might be more for aftermarket skids
