Is there a benefit to the lever style 4X4 selector versus the dial type? I see the SR5 4X4 has the dial selector but a higher level trim TRD Off-Road Venture has the lever style for 4X4.

Would Love to this exact video for my 2023 SR5 that has the same exact transfer knob but says H2 , H4 , L4. I cannot find a usage video anywhere for that set up. Thank You

It’s exactly the same except you’re going from 2WD to 4WD with that first turn and you don’t need to be stopped (about 25 mph max).

I have a 2023 SR5 premium and have wonder when it's best to use each of these settings. There is so much information out there any sometimes it's hard to know what is correct.

Toyota has another, more recent video stating that changing from H4F to H4L can be done at any speed, therefore not stopped. What gives?
