Thanks for the video, how did you achieve to split the actuator in half ? I have a 2017 Corolla IM but there is no way to remove both caps , I have detached the plastic locks but no luck yet.

@@4s-ter it’s possible to split it but is tricky I just used the motor of the new replacement unit and keep the original housing hardware.

Can someone tell me where I test the actuator to check the motor I know at the connector but what (terminals) and I’m using a power probe

Change actuator in modular (don’t close) go to car put connector plug in half modular hit car remote or door open and lock it should spin both ways and your good to go!

I have issues with my Toyota Corolla Verso 1.6 vvti (2003) where the front left door can't be locked/unlocked with remote key, but door handle and mechanical lock/key works. Other doors can be locked/unlocked remotely. Is that same problem?

Possibly. You will have disassemble the door panel and check for voltage and ground. Listen for the door look motor to have movements
