Driving Avensis T25 1.8 facelift and the engine is top! Zero problems with the car. It is almost 300k km.

My neighbour had one from brand new with 98,000 mile 1.8 petrol and I bought it for £300 it's immaculate. I changed the oil, oil filter, alternator, alternator belt, spark plugs, air filter, water pump, coolant, new battery and put cataclean fuel cleaner through it i hope it lasts me a long time.

It's seems avensis with 1.8 engine is the most reliable.

I have toyota avensis 5door t3s t250 . I've not had much as yet. The only problem is the fuel filler door release Actuator motor. The rod go's in and stays in.

good review ,,2006 d4d estate irish roads . 370'000kms country roads . super car DEFO do the gearbox oil every 100,000k i did not and lost 5th gear last week. Manuel 5 speed . 100% correct everything you mentioned. Cheers

I struggle with my avensis for month don't want to start no fire to the petrol pump but I put new pump and fuel relay stil no fire to the pump

i gas 2.0 108 kw 2003 petrol engine 350 000km not even one problem

4:46 2.0l 1AZ-FSE and 2.4l 2AZ-FSE petrol engines is not compatible with e10 fuel :(

Toyota's own spec, they're the only two engines that shouldn't be run on E10 petrol.

If you wish to have a 2.0 and 2.4 engine , you have to add E10 additive to petrol in tank .

Is D- cat 2.2L diesel engine good choice?

I have heard that the 2.2 d-cat is way more problematic than the 2.2 d4d.I am driving rn a 2.2 d4d Avensis t25 and I am more than content with it.Great fuel consumption,it Accelerates quite fast for 150 hp.
