Toyota Aygo tail light *Upgrade*

My Toyota Aygo needed a Upgrade! So today i changed the old taillights with the facelifted once.

this is my second comment on your video. I have now done the taillight change to - found locally a set of light that use to sit on a 2021 model that unfortunately was totalled. Before that I put ind a radio that sat in a Peugoet 108 - it has 3 buttons and does have navigation from attached phone.

I’ve been wondering for so long wether I’d be able to do this on my Aygo, even my Toyota dealership told me they wouldn’t fit but this shows otherwise. Great video thanks 😊

Probably the best Aygo upgrade video I have seen. I was dubious at first, but you showed what you did in steps well, and the end result was good. I would be interested to see more Aygo upgrade videos. Maybe a set of Toyota OE gloss black alloys?.

Looks so much better. Have you tried any upgrades to the original front lights on the Aygo? Because the originals on my 2016 are absolutely useless!! (like red hot nails)

Very good! - But I hoped to the very end that you would show if there is any difference in brake and blink light from old to facelifted version. I have just sold my 2008 aygo and got a 2018 model - but unfortunable 2018 before the facelift. Thanks for sharing..

Very nice! I have a set coming soon and can't wait to changed them, they look so much better without the chrome bits. I actually don't like the facelift front end (the little black cheese grater under the headlight makes it looks like it's got bags under its 'eyes' haha) so the combination with facelift rear lights looks really good imo.

@@anthonyniessing7737 Fitted them today. They are so much better! Even with it switched off, it looks better than standard because it's more red and doesn't have the chrome side bits.

@@davidowen8353 in my opion, new taillights from the official dealer are way to expensive but it is the safest place to buy them. But mine are in perfect condition and there genuine.

I totally agree that they look fantastic, did you gave any issues with the indicators working correctly, I've seen a video similar to yours but when the guy installed the new lights the indicators flashed to quickly which here in England that could be a MOT failure?

I have had no problems with my turn signals. Which maybe could be, if the light burns faster. Is that the bulb it contains has a lower watt than 21 watts that are in most cars. This will cause the light to blink faster.

Heb je de gefacelifte achterlichten nog op je Aygo? Ik kan een setje overnemen maar twijfel enorm ik vind de plek van de richtingaanwijzers niet mooi op de nieuwe al vind ik de led strip wel gaaf.

Heb ze toch niet meer gekocht. Ik vind bij mijn zwarte de oude lampen mooier zijn wat donkerder en vind bij de nieuwe lampen de knipperlichten op een rare plek zitten maar is een kwestie van smaak.

@@anthonyniessing7737 Ben uiteindelijk toch overstag gegaan.... en moet zeggen het is even wennen maar het staat wel beter led maakt de auto wat moderner en dat het chroom weg is uit de lamp is ook wel een bijkomend voordeel op zwart staat het heel mooi.

@@anthonyniessing7737 ik had het mooier gevonden als ze de knipperlichten aan de onderkant hadden gelaten maar de led strip is wel heel gaaf veel moderner. Verder heb ik er knipperlichten ingedaan met een chromen coating dan zie je die oranje gloed niet ook een aanrader!

@@GXMC123 I only did the rearlights. If i'm correct you can change the frontlight but then you also need de facelift bumper, because the shape of the headlights are different.

Vraagje: kunnen die zwarte panelen aan de buitenkant van de auto (dus onder je achterklep en op de voorbumper) verwisseld worden voor een andere kleur?

Ja dat zou moeten kunnen. De (zwarte panelen) zitten vast geklikt met klipjes in de bumper, dus je zou ze kunnen verwisselen voor een andere kleur.

Leuke video. Ik heb de zelfde aygo met zwarte velgen. Mijn vraag kan je ook de koplampen omwisselen? Daar we al dag rijverlichting in de bumper hebben kunnen we deze koplampen dan wel aangesloten worden want hier zitten de led rijverlichting in de koplamp unit. Je kan ook nog dynamische knipper lichten monteren alla audi look.

Je kan nieuwe koplampen in de auto monteren maar dan heb je ook de facelift bumper voornodig omdat de facelift koplamp een andere vorm hebben

Led achterlichten van de aygo zijn een hele verbetering de nieuwe koplampen zijn ook mooi. Ik zit te twijfelen of ik een aygo uit 2016 moet kopen heb er eentje gezien maar weet niet of deze echt wel zo klein aanvoelt als men zegt en of het rijgedrag op de snelweg volwassen is ook met wat meer wind.

Het zijn wel compacte auto's maar het voelt niet heel klein. Naar mijn mening rijdt de auto het leuks op wegen buiten de bebouwdekom (dijkwegen en tochtweggetjes) omdat het een hele lichte auto is. Op de snelweg is het ook prima te doen maar mocht het hard waaien dan voel je de auto wel trekken, vergeet niet de auto weegt ook maar 800KG

Hey Ed nou de aygo rijdt heel volwassen en kan erg goed met het verkeer meekomen. TJa met wind / storm hoor je bij iedere auto wel wat en met 130/140 rijd die als een zonnetje. Is maar wat je zoekt en tevreden mee bent. Ik vind ze geweldig want dit is mn 3de AYGO.

@@gti1411 ik moet zeggen ik heb de aygo nu een maand en nu pas ben ik er aan gewend (ik kwam van een wat zwaardere, grotere auto met een hele andere koppeling) maar gister had ik ineens het gevoel van ja nu heb ik het door! en dacht ik ja hij rijdt idd supergoed! in de stad en buitenwegen is het net een kart en op de snelweg (110-120) rijd hij ook heel volwassen. Waar eerst wat twijfels waren ben ik er nu superblij mee! (heb de x-clusive uitvoering).

Als je de facelift voorlichten zou willen, dan moet je ook de facelift voorbumper hebben. Omdat ze nieuwe lichten een iets andere vorm hebben.
