Yes, this kit has been around for a very long time. I first saw it in a Tamiya mini brochure when I bought my first ever Tamiya kit at eleven years old. I remember Tamiya had this 20th scale one you are building, and I think they also had it in 24th scale and as a 12th scale RC car. I like how you can see elements of the original Celica Liftback design amid all the aerodynamic additions to it. I had actually forgotten about this model kit so it's nice to see it getting built, and it looks quite challenging thus far.

Hello David. Thank you for watching the Celica video. I'm also happy because there are many people who miss this kit. I imagine it was very popular back then. I found out about this machine in a catalog that my brother had, but I never expected to build it in 2024. But I like it very much. thank you✨
Thank you for another excellent video. I did not admire this machine much, however your work has shifted my perspective. Also, thank you for extended footage of sharpening. I am wary to sharpen my models because I am scared of mistakes, so I enjoy seeing your steps and results to practice for myself.

Hello Brendan. How is it going. Thank you for watching this time. I don't know anything about this machine either. This rough design shows the intensity of the racing scene at the time. I believe there is no right answer when it comes to building plastic models. I have the most fun building with my favorite color, my favorite method, and my favorite time. I hope you have a wonderful time🤗

I had this exact kit many many years ago when I was a teenager. It was a gem on my bookshelf for a long time. :-) Yours ended up 1,000 times better.

Hello. Thank you for watching. I hope my video will remind you of those days. Building plastic models when I was a child was really fun and a treasure. In order to remember that feeling, I will continue to work hard to build it. Please look forward to the next work🤗✨
Hi! I wanted to compliment you on your videos. No annoying music 😊 and a lovely voice describing what you are doing. I wish I understood Japanese but the subtitles are ok 😅

Hello Frits. Thank you for watching. In the early videos, music was introduced, but as you said, I felt the music was distracting, so I turned it off. Since I live in the countryside, there are sounds of birds and animals, the sound of the wind, and the sound of rain, so I would be happy if you could watch it again. Please look forward to the next work🤗✨

I have to agree, I love the format. The music chosen by creators is often so annoying I don't watch it.
Fantastic work!! 5 degrees!! I hope you have a heater, must be fun spraying at that temp!!

Hello. Thank you for watching! It's an old house in the countryside, so early in the morning the temperature is the same as outside😭 I installed a heater last year, but until then I had put up with it✨ The conveniences of civilization are wonderful.
Buongiorno. Grazie per aver guardato. Cerco di scrivere poesie che siano un po' languide, ma gentili, e di leggerle ad alta voce. Spero vi piaccia. Grazie per il vostro continuo supporto. Spero che tu abbia un fine settimana meraviglioso!

This kit is a lot older than 25years - it was the first Tamiya kit I ever built as a boy in 1978!

Hola lucas.

Well, this is a very old kit. I liked the Tamiya 1/20 series because the cars were bigger than 1/24. I remember building the 1/20 Vailant Porsche when 13 years old. Be careful with decals because it is easy to stretch them out of shape when using the decal softeners.
@scalemodelbuildchannel7 ай бұрын
Hello Trappen. Thank you for watching. Yes. I think this kit is a masterpiece that represents Tamiya. There seem to be many modelers who built this kit when they were children. I'm really happy to be able to talk with modelers from that time, even today. Tamiya decals are particularly sensitive to softeners, so you have to be careful. I always take care too.🤗✨ Thank you.
Cześć. Dziękuję za obejrzenie mojego filmu. I dziękuję za odnalezienie mojego kanału z Polski, pięknego kraju jak z bajki.

Wonderful build. Piloted in the Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft in 1977 by Harald Ertl. This car had growing pains, with a lot of reliability issues that would continue into 1978 when the car would be painted in red and driven by Rolf Stommelen. I would love to see you do the 1978 spec kit if possible in the future! ❤

I saw the video. The nose of the actual car is even lower and slanted compared to the plastic model, so it's really cool! I'm jealous that such a powerful race was held at that time. The races in recent years have been very gentlemanly, so I feel a little unsatisfied. I will watch it again🏆

Great build of a fast car from the past. The Tamiya FIAT 131 ABARTH 1-20 scale is also a very nice kit. Building it on this moment and has a very nice engine that you can detail very good on a simple way. Thanks for showing us the build of this car. Gonna look or i can order it here in Europe or buy it in Japan.

Hello Jan. How is it going. Thank you for always watching! Through this kit, I learned that there are other 1/20 models besides Formula. It's very well made and it's fun to look at the completed kit. However, I was surprised to find that the paint consumption was much higher than I expected🤣✨ Please look forward to the next work.

@@scalemodelbuildchannel Thank you. Yes there are some nice models in the big scale for sale. I got the Porsche 934 RSR Vaillant in 1-12 waiting to be build in a street version. But i am a bit intimidated by the content of that box.And buying now slowly things i need to have to make that car the best possible. But i loved how the celica turned out. Top knotch as usuall.
