I LOVE my C-HR and I don't see myself replacing it anytime soon but it is nice to offer people options. This Corolla Cross looks pretty interesting. Looks like it slots in the space between the C-HR and the Rav4. Toyota is killing it! Keep up the great work Toyota. As long as Toyota keeps putting out great driving, reliable vehicles, people will buy them.

It is opted in either 1.8 NA or 1.8HV engine derived from the Prius' by far. Android auto is available in some markets. AWD must be available in four season countries, I' m pretty sure.

Test drove it today (in Thailand). Solid Toyota feel, does most things you would expect in this day and age. Including I'm sad to say, massively long time lag between when you plant the foot and when the thing starts to go. Same with it's competition I've driven in the last few days - Mazda CX30, MG HS, Honda HR (not so bad), Toyota CHR. Put me right off! The only vehicle I've driven in that category which is different is the Nissan Kicks. Not sold in too many countries I think, but it's a pure electric experience - ie instant get up and go. This is because of the fact that the wheels are driven by an electric motor. Only. It has an IC engine to charge the battery. Think I'm gonna buy it.

We have 2 later model Corolla's that we love. No problems and so cheap to operate. My wife would love this, similar to our 2005 Pontiac Vibe made by Toyota that we handed down to our Son in-law.

I bought my new toyota corolla cross in july 2024, and there are 2 big failures: 1- media system failure very dangerous and not acceptable, phone sometimes only in some part takes the connection with system, sometimes no, message on the screen "we can not log your profile" this failure is taking drivers focus from the road and going "what is wrong..?" Thanks for that the car is not usefull in 100% and i want part of my money back, because this is not when we buy a car and there going things like this. Many users in poland have the same problem and services giving up because the failure is coming back after some time... it is very nervous and dangerous... probebly some other take care systems can run like this... 2 - is that we can not have remote parking especially going out from the small parking place when the other driver parks his car very close to my and i cant get in... even toyota chr has this possibility, my in very high line = executive NO... WHY ? What is wrong with that? Is a very small treating clients... I want part of my money back!! I bought my car and i thought it is new, and useFULL, i got useLESS in some part... with failures which will come back aftes the service... and that is for shure as i see other users... there are hidden failures Lokk at these problems if we for example will try to sell this car, and somebody of You dear Users will see that problem... what will You do? You will say that is a hidden problem with media system which is very nervous and You will try to receive Your money, because it has hidden problems and You will think if there is a problem with media system there will be another problems with other systems and costs of repairing if it will be possible. It is not fair from the Producer way. If i knew about these things i wouldn't by this car and take probably ch-r... i hope somebody from toyota will read it and answear it... problems about i wrote are in poland...

Toyota, you are missing a lot of customers. You need to improve in your crossovers: Have true 4wd with locking options, stop using the crappy jbl and start using something better - like Bose, sound insulated the cabin for quieter and more comfortable ride - these options do not cost much. By using better audio options and acoustical options - few dollars extra will be added. Also, have at least 5k LB towing capacity while maintaining 30+ mpg when not towing. Do not build a sluggish vehicle either. High Torque ratings at the lower rpm’s is a must these days. - similar to electric/diesel numbers.

This model may replace the unloved Toyota C-HR in the US market. It will likely have two engines for the US market, the 2ZR-FAE 140 bhp engine for the lower end models and the M20A-FKS engine for the higher end models.

The C-HR is unloved in Australia also. It's marketed at young families, but the rear door handles are up at the roofline, so kids can't reach them and let themselves in. Having a pissy 1200cc engine doesn't help a loaded family vehicle also. Not Toyota's usual product.
