Hi Matt, thank you for the video. I just bought my first FJ cruiser and both side mirror lights are out. I have a couple questions about this upgrade/install. 1. Since the mirror has electric positioning, could pulling and pushing on it damage the mechanism? 2. Where did you buy those Amber led bulbs? Thanks!

No the wiring is behind the mounting plate for the glass as long as you don’t pull that out your good! I got mine off Amazon believe I paid $20

Toyota states this light as a marker indicator not for lighting up the road that’s why there so dull!

I just got my FJ 2007 and i cant find the switch to turn these on? Is there one?

There is no switch for them alone, they come on when you turn the parking lights on.

There are 3 modes for your headlights, the switch is the stick to the left of the steering wheel, all the way to the left is your automatic lights, middle is your always on lights and all the way right is your brightest lights with the mirror lights engaged

I couldn't get one of my mirrors off so I ended up changing the bulb with the mirror still attached. I had to fish it out with a screwdriver and angle the mirror all the way down lol

Your secondary mirror is reversed xD it has to be the wider part out, so that it accommodates for the perspective. Ember lights is good idea! Gotta get my self a pair. To push little firther thowards "Imma drivin' a truck" dream of mine xD
