I love this Land Cruiser. Looked at buying a new 200 series and putting lift on it but might buy something like this instead. Daily drive a 1996 3x locked 80.

Just get a longer parking brake. Easier option vs changing a major component. I'd definitely try to keep that center console in.. That is one of the few complaints I have with the landcruiser

The lock nuts that where getting stuck are splined anti theft style they use a special socket. Just to help you out... my 4th gen had them and I chunked them in the trash and got regular ones

Good catch! After I filmed this episode I found the lock nut key buried in the truck 🙄 Oh well live and learn LOL

first time seeing your LC video; I have a 1988 HJ61. Im getting ready to replace the factory radio, and want to add an amp, new speakers....just seeing what you have in yours; Mine is in the Philippines....but going over when they open up to live there and get the radio work done... in Florida presently.

Hey bud, nothing special at the moment, just an upgraded pioneer head unit. Although I have been thinking about upgrading to a unit with a pop out screen that would integrate with google and Gaia maps

Nice clean rig, I had the 3f in mine but now its got a 12ht, it's like having 2x 3f's with half the fuel consumption.

Thanks Carl. I just got them from Amazon. The turn signal relay should be under the dash on the drivers side to the left of the clutch pedal.

Wow...what's up with that dry rot on those Nitto tires? That's some poor quality. What torque spec you using for the lug nuts? Nice cruisers! You keep mentioning SAE sizes for everything (I know..along with metric) ...you shouldn't be using anything but metric...yeah it might fit but it's not what is specified to use.

Thanks, yeah I try and mention both just so others have an option if they don’t have metric on hand. Nitto make some good tires, but these were old and I think had been baking in the Cali heat for a while! I usually go 90-100lb-ft on the lug nut torque. Thanks for watching!

How much clearance do you get from the ground to the bottom of the fj60 with 33s on?

What size lift kit are you using on the fj60? Is it an old man emu 2 inch?

Yes old man emu shocks and OME Dakar springs with Man-a-Fre rear shackles and front sway bar links. Also has a Man-a-Fre shackle reversal. I think it’s 2” but not 100% sure
