The higher field of view here definitely helps with sense of speed. Ive seen a few comments in older videos saying it looks like you're going real slow, and it's because the fov was like 50. I play on a triple monitor setup, so i already know, but i think this video clears up some of those concerns. The game looks great.

Man, those kinds of Kerbs are called stepped Kerbs. Not all kerbs on the track are smooth. In F1 those kerbs make the car jump

This looks to me like a shader compilation issue probably due to the game trying to instantiate a particle effect (sparks?) as a result of riding those kerbs. Even if the particles don't end up being rendered, instantiation requires the material and shader to be ready and it needs to be compiled on the fly if they don't use precompulation like some games do. Might be totally wrong but looks like the case to me. Similar to hitting stuff on EA WRC used to stutter before they fixed most of it by adding pre shader compilation.

I don't like how the AI still gets stuck behind lapped traffic. Notice the LMP2s in the mirrors of Hoyer's Toyota. Could use some improvement. Edit: HY ai also still seems a bit slow even running with their own class. Notice the gap begin to decrease as soon as the toyota gets clean air. Almost an entire second. The Toyota is fighting through traffic on his own while it seems the Hypercar ai can't really make gaps on each other, which is a clue that the Hypercars also struggle through traffic and mostly race in a pack, similar to traditional RF2 ai. My heart is in the online racing, but I hope the singleplayer aspect can see improvements if this game succeeds over time. 👍 Good luck LMU! I'll be there day one.

Very nice. I love the sound on hard bumps and hollows in the straight line, adding to immersion. It's nice to have here and there some "ambient" sound above just the motor sound. RDV tuesday :)

I have a 32:9 ultrawide so it's good to see what that aspect will look like. Overall looks fantastic, hoping the FFB is decent. Only slight downer is very limited tracks / cars on Early Access but they've promised lots more to come so hopefully not too long to wait for the rest of the good stuff. PS: Not sure why the virtual mirror was enabled when the 'real' one is present and at a decent position, personally speaking I like as little extra stuff on-screen as possible to increase immersion and reduce distraction.

It will have. It already exists, but not publicly. There is a lot of chatter than experienced rF2 users will easily find a workaround, however, no official support of any kind to any question will be provided until it is effectively made public by the Studio.

In terms of engine sounds the TGR & Ferrari sound kinda the same in real life if you ignore the super loud deployment/regen of the 499p. I saw a clip of the Ferrari with the regen off, and it sounds hella similar with the TGR. Although here in this gameplay, the regen sound isn’t that loud on the Ferrari, and is too loud on the TGR (compared to Real life onboards) Here, both cars basically share the same engine sound.

Graphics, physics, AC doesn't have laser-scanned tracks, it doesn't have those tracks in its cars, ams2 doesn't have a decent multiplayer system or events, to play in iracing if you buy those outdated tracks they cost 100 dollars and if you buy all the cars another 100 dollars. Want more reasons?

Don't buy. Other passionate driver will buy and be happy..... (Iracing fanboy I presume). Personnally I stay on rF2 for Nurburgring, more than 80 ultra realistic and variated cars. That's the same game, but with almost all tracks and a lot of varied and ultra realistic cars. ≠ LMU from these essential aspects. But all other aspects are ALMOST the same......................
