People look too much at the numbers these days it's how it drives & feels

its not even that slow. Its not fast for a sports car. But people make it out that minivans will be overtaking you.

It's not a sports car it's a GT coupe and a very good one. I agree about the power obsession people have missing the point - the most fun car I had was a Smart Roadster Coupe you had to drive it to understand it because the figures were terrible.
@BlatentlyFakeName
@BlatentlyFakeName 7 жыл бұрын
Yep, one of the best coupes you can buy today, in any price bracket IMO. Also it's not as slow as official figures suggest. But Toyota always seem to do that, it was the same with the Supra. Just look where it stands on Top Gear's powerlap board. On a track, it's quick.

As an owner of a white Aero myself: I love this car, even as a daily, every summer. I put it away every fall since I got it in 2013 (ordered the car in October 2012). Wing is an awesome part of the design and does not block any view. Subscribed! (feel free to check my 86 stuff out ^^)

You're wrong about the auto. Of course its not as raw as the manual, but its very good for an auto. Snappy in manual mode too. Try using this as your daily driver through central London and see which you would choose.

Same here. For a car with no crazy secondary gearbox / clutch, the changes are VERY fast. Most racing setups are exactly what we have in an auto86, having three pedals and waving your arm around is a "Drivers Car" from the last millenium.

I own a Toyota Celica T sport (with Japspeed exhaust + TRD ecu) it's running between 215bhp or 220bhp the most and it hasn't gone wrong since owning it for 6 months. I know it's not a gt 86, but as a Toyota owner, I reckon this gt 86 will last you for a very long time if u plan to get 1. (Y)

2:40 AT shifts in 0.3s, most regular MT drivers on track shift around 0.7-1.0s. I think you mean the AT ratios are longer. 4:30 Why is the TB and hoses all covered in green shit? Coolant is blue. 7:20 You may need to bend the frame inside the shoulder bolsters outwards so your back can touch the seat without pushing your shoulders forward.
@DustyShedGarage

+Wayne Watson yeah, even though the AT is goo for 130 mph and manual can do 140, they are very similar in gearchange, i dont quite thiink it's 0.3 seconds... thats on par with lamborghinis
