@@diydaly thinking he wasn’t as careful as you, however holding the cam and pump from rotating using the screw holes looks effective

what is the purpose for the cable tie?

The crank shaft is inclined to revert to a different angle sometimes. Oddly enough I found out that the camshaft of an engine is exactly the same way if not worse.
