I’ve got one. Roller cover literally blew up (motor smoking and burnt out) after 6 weeks. Covered by warranty but a serious pain!! Everything else about the Ute is excellent.
@michaeldoughty12573 жыл бұрын
I’ve had problems with the roller cover as well, been back 4 times to get it fixed and it stopped working again for 2 days last week, a real pain in the ass!! Other than that I like everything else about the Ute, had 3 hilux’s before this one, always been great utes.

$69,000 !!, it's no wonder the Chinese brands are climbing up the sales charts, offering comparable utes for thousands less. It used to be the top seller, Ford Ranger stole that mantle a while ago.
@theotherleft61133 жыл бұрын
Great review. I think the humble ute has gone away from its roots of being a tradie vehicle due to the carpeted tub. One thing all Toyota reviews seem to miss is servicing is every 6 months/10,000km for the Hilux which is just a blatant money rort expecially for a commercial vehicle, when compared to its competition.

Be extremely wary of being ripped off buying a used Hilux..(and many other used cars). There are so many people trying to sell them for nearly the price of a new one, the same or in some cases more than the cost of a new one! I cannot get my head around the level of arrogance of people charging those kind of prices for something that’s a few years old with thousands of k’s on it. That tells you a lot about the sellers.. I mean WTF is wrong with these people?!...

Madam Cup holder in front air con vent is meant for keeping beverages not the hot coffee. In scorching summer the placement keeps liquid cool. It is also available in Innova and Fortuner.
