Let's not forget for a moment that passenger cars represent one third of the market in sales and there are still passenger cars in the top 10 best selling cars e.g. hyundai i30 or toyota camry.

Leather doesn’t come standard in a SR5. So for your $6k over a SR5 you get leather, tonneau, tow bar, carpet and the different trim. It worked out cheaper to buy the rogue than spec a SR5 up to the same level.

i cant understand how people are still buying this 20 year old technology compared the newer Utes on the market?? I looked at a Hilux first then decided to drive some of the newer Utes and all i can say is the Hulix isn't even on the same planet as the Ranger or Amorok - Add the world wide DPF issue that Toyta have failed to address and its an overall uninspiring package really - Good honest review thanks guys

If you drove a trustworthy hilux all your life why change.Toyota don't have to prove anything it showed everyone that it holds value and more reliable than anything.Yes DPF issues but that goes for any new diesel car with the 6 million sensors....

Rather a dpf issue instead of a broken engine like the ranger and bt50 have plenty of. And VW Amorock is a VW - gay

@@RY4NP keep driving your tractor and you will never get to drive a refined smooth fuel efficient quiet Ute like the VW. Most Toyota drivers never experience good driving cars that have power and torque and refinement. And don't tell me their reliable as my mates Hilux is always having an issue

Navara Black Edition shits all over this, the extras on that are way more useful than what the rogue and rugged offer. Marine carpet? Really ? 😂😂

Funny how the Hilux cult is still singing it's praises while cheaper 4WDs are rapidly closing the distance for far less money or in the case of the 2019 Triton overtaking it. The 2019 Triton has: A better power to weight ratio even with it's 2.4L engine vs the 2.8L A better auto transmission Better on-road and at speed handling Better fuel economy Better maneuverability/tighter turning On-road 4x4 function More leg and head room front and back A metric shit ton of safety and electronic features not standard on the top range Hilux and Ranger It's reduced braked towing capacity of 3100kg is in fact honest and if Toyotoa was honest they'd have the Hilux rated at a similar weight... People buy Hilux becasue people buy Hilux - It's a self lickign ice-cream. If you are on the market for a new truck look outside the square there are better value for money options like the BT50 and Triton. In fact with the latter I'd say it's hands down a better car than the 2018 Hilux.

People get Toyota because of the name and also the best re-sale value the last past few years.

Mitsubishi Triton still have steering vibration problem come with rattle noise and feel loose on rough road MMTH repair by put grease in rack and pinion to make it firm but it's stupid way to solve problem.
@titaniumquarrion9838
@titaniumquarrion9838 5 жыл бұрын
@@pindypkkung This isn't a Triton issue it's a modifying your stock suspension issue and can occur with any 4WD. If yoru Triton is stock and vibrating then something needs replacing. "Driveline vibrations can occur when you raise a vehicle (not just a Triton), and the raised height changes the relationship of the flanges at the differential and transfer case. It is very important that the correct springs are selected to ensure that the correct ride height is achieved. When a heavier-than-required spring is selected, you generally will receive a greater ride height but could face the issue of a driveline vibration. In vehicles that are sensitive to driveline angle changes, there are some possible solutions to correct driveline vibration such as caster wedges, indexing the driveshaft (turning the driveshaft as you mentioned) or even balancing the driveshaft. These need to be addressed on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis and are not necessarily a ‘one solution fits all’ approach and are best conducted by an experienced mechanic. As mentioned, it is worth purchasing an engineered suspension system like Old Man Emu that has been designed to ensure you don’t experience these issues".

@@titaniumquarrion9838 No, Im using hilux with emu shock abs. 😂 But here in Thailand a lot of triton users mainly complain two issues, Steering rack and final drive noise. I'm not discrediting Mitsubishi, just tell foreigner because these car are made in Thailand, I see these problems frequently in Triton users club TH. thanks for reply me so long I understand what you want me know.

@@pindypkkung Ahh a none Triton driver reporting he has heard about Triton complaints.... Can you send me a link to any official consumer watchdog type reporting showing this is a systemic problem with Triton because it sure seems funny that isn't the case in Australia and New Zealand....
