Toyota HZJ75 Rebuild - Front Diff Centre Video 7

The diff centre had a failed front pinion bearing due to lack of 4WD engagement. We end up overhauling the centre getting closer to putting the front axle housing and wheels back on the chassis.

Why didnt you use a solid spacer sleeve instead of a collapsable one?

Came with the bearing kit, and I have always used them on the Toyota's. Only diffs I have done with solid spacer /shim are your Dana 44 series, Eaton and Rockwell but these are a way bigger centre. Not sure where you would buy spacer shim kit for the 75 series in Aus but if available you could use it.
