Our 2007 Innova has clocked 1.8 Lakh kms and is still solid as a rock. We have driven it to Kerala, Bangalore, Leh and Gujarat. Also used it as a family car for parents and a truck to move our belongings. Fantastic build quality unmatched by even Honda, Volkswagen and other big names. Will definitely replace it with the new Innova Crysta! If build quality is important to you, this is worth every penny spent. Mahindra, Tata, are great but in a much lower league.

Rear design looks awful but it's a win in the Engine department. If someone wants to go by outer looks they will be dissappointed but if someone's looking for reliable performance they will be more than happy.

I really never liked Innova from day one. But this one made from scratch. And have to say Superb job Toyota...Hats off. In india Mahindra SCORPIO, XUV5OO, TATA Safari Strome, Aria (which is already out of competition) & other some others will feel the Heat. Toyota taken Game to higher level, in terms of Feature, design, quality, Ride & handling AND PRICE :p.

+Danish Khan This Innova will be the one to be dead. It will now cost North of 20L, which is Fortuner money and there is already the Endeavour to devour it's rivals. The Hexa will be competing with the XUV and will be much cheaper than this pricey, fatty Japanese Elephant although providing similar equipment levels and 4X4. Mind you, the Innova is still MPV and an MPV for 24L is just a big loser. Know your facts right before you talk.

rear end is more like a typical family wagon, maybe it's designed such that to make more space. interiors looks glossy though. high speed stability is poor and not confident enough. so it's more of muv. we should wait for tiguan. I think tiguan is having q3 base, so y spend more on innova. just my opinion.

hi i have a question regarding the automatic crysta how do you hold the car in traffic light every time? b cos i pull the hand brake and get it neutral for this there is a lot of confusion on how to hold the car at traffic signal, some say you should hold the brake that's risky and you are using the brake and your brake lights are glowing blinding the driver behind changing to neutral always spoils the auto gear box is what others say i dont know how far its true please advise

It is strange that Toyota should change the steering character of the crysta. The innova had a brilliant steering character. Had the hydraulic power steering setup been replaced by an electric power assisted one, this change is understandable. Having retained the hydraulic power steering setup why I wonder Toyota did this?!

VW is shit.. they are supplying old tech engines in India and the service costs r darn high compared to others. Also the ride quality isnt as comfy as Toyota or Honda. Their sibling skoda is also giving the same engines so better to avoid them too. Just see the condition of some old VW Diesel vehicles, sound like tractor like Indica from TATA used to sound once. The problem with some people is they dont wana buy a car which is used as Taxi, boss, taxi companies use only the most trusted vehicles for their buisness and not shit like VW
