Hi Faisal ..i appreciate ur vlogs.....i own a crysta 2.7 ZX auto BS6 . And it feels really smooth...To much surprise 2.7 will drink petrol more but spending around 2.8 million rupees on road and fuel economy should not be priority. Diesel is good only because of Torque that too with the help of a turbocharger .....Fuel economy as people "average" should not considered when one is spending above 2 million rupees .....15 years vs 10 years is a big difference.....when having a car and to keep it for long duration...and that typicall diesel black exhaust smoke ruins the image no matter which brand one is driving....

Innova with Diesel engine has catered the market with utmost ease fulfilling the requirements of the people as well as the fleet drivers. Diesels are the best for fuel efficiency and low End torque. Wish, the Next Generation Innova must have atleast one diesel option too if possible.

Diesel is not always your go-to because it takes time to warm itself up and if you were in a rush, it sucks. Their torque is good at low speeds but diesels are crap at gaining speed if not remapped/modified in some way because their torque send is only full at low rpms, yes fuel economy is not bad, decent. I think this next diesel hybrid which is a big rumor for the upcoming 3rd gen Innova will be a good replacement but not so good for tuners (not Fortuner).

@@sspeedd8809 i think I've never seen a Diesel hybrid in any part of the world 😂. It just does not make sense. Diesel has low torque, electric motor also has very low Torque. Combine both and you get a failure. Also hybrids require CVT gearbox which already fails with Diesel so sorry but that's only going to be a rumour.

If one were to drive a diesel innova too like that, in power mode that would also return anywhere between 7.5 and 9 kmpl. I drive a Petrol Automatic and get 8.5-9.5 kmpl in city and 11-13 on highways on Normal (NOT Eco mode) drives. Its one of the smoothest engines to drive out there!

Go ahead and get it, if your annual driving is less than 14000 Kms. Maintenance cheaper across, and Resale better at least in NCR. Plus you can't match the refinement that the Petrol offers over the Diesel.

The petrol manual easily gives 10-12 kmpl if driven sedately. This is a people mover and not a race car. Also even if the mileage is 6 kmpl you will spend 2.3L only by driving 15K kms. Go and watch some Maths lessons 😂
