Thanks for this video, it helped me a lot to replace my window regulator. I am Dutch and for me it is the left side that was defective. But it worked thanks to this video, absolutely great!

Thank you for presenting this work. I am a new owner of an IQ and the driver's window always opens half way back. I don't know exactly what's wrong yet, but I'm sure the door needs to be disassembled. I know how to do it from you.

I enjoy watching your videos. You are a couple of hard working down to earth guys and I wish you both a lot of success. I might be completely wrong but, when you stripped the door down, it looked like you removed the black window winding crossover cables out of the large white plastic bracket on the upper part of the door. But, when you reassembled it, you refitted the door card without putting the crossover cables back into the white plastic bracket. So, if the cables are supposed to be held in the plastic bracket, they might move about and rattle or get caught up with the window as it goes up and down.

This is very useful! Please can you confirm what replacement part you ordered for this? My wire has just snapped so have faith the motor is ok but appears I'll need a new regulator. I'm so glad u have done this video as there isn't much out there for Toyota IQs. Thanks. Just to add mine is 2008 model.

Mine doesn't do that. It's intermittently working on either switch, goes up then down, never fully down. It's like a seriously bad child, does nothing you tell it to. Not even as fast. I am thinking it's a new motor needed?
