My 2009 fiesta is generating a rotational noise from the drivers rear. Changed the bearing and checked the brakes? At low speed it makes a "scuff, scuff, scuff" noise which is really irritating. Not sure what else to change?

Im looking at buying 2016 focus 1.0 has the same disinterested belt sludge amd oil light on. The car runs and drives belt hasnt gone yet. Do i need to replace the oil pump or can it be cleaned? Wet belt and drive belt being replaced. Any help appreciated Thanks

Hello, It’s just a mechanical pump so should be fine just being cleaned out alongside having the timing and oil pump belts replaced

@MandJAutomotive thanks mate your a legend, just out of curiosity the belt hasn't gone yet the car still drive. What's the chances of there being internal damage from non lubrication due to no pressure... Just preparing myself for the worst case? Amy thing I should look out for or listen out for ?

The variable cam timing solenoids are oil reliant so they can be effected which normally throws an engine warning light, the turbo has an oil feed with a hex key and gauze filter behind the timing belt that will need to be checked as they can block up

For those of you who want clear instructions for this (I looked at the video and then decided to try myself): Remove the door card (remove the triangle behind the handle and the shiny silver cover to reveal three screws), Pull up to remove the long trim piece on the window side of the door, Unclip the window controls and speaker, Pull away part of the the plastic sheeting on the top and bottom from the door (do not tear it as it prevents moisture), Undo ALL of the bolts on each corner (as seen in the video - all the bolts visible on the door you have to remove), There are small clips on each of the corners, just press the sides in and they will release. Press in the screw parts on the top and bottom and they will come free. The window is attached to the cables using 10mm bolts - if you follow the cables they will be attached by two bolts on the bottom of the window. The window will be able to drop (it cannot fall as there is a polystyrene block preventing it) - you can pull it out at an angle from the top (the trim on the top gives you more space), Remove the window regulator, then put the new one in - the black corner goes on the bottom left on the passenger side, there is only one way of putting this in with the motor mounts facing towards you. Put the window in and guide it towards the screw holes on the cables. Put everything back together! This whole thing took me 20 minutes from start to finish, for all the window regulators I've done, this was the easiest! The video helped.

The mk 808 is an import autel unit that has no uk back up. You don’t find this out until you try to renew your subscription, any unit starting with the letters MK are non uk units. I purchased one these units through Amazon had for a year they refunded my money because it could not be updated there are number of companies selling these units in the uk now BEWARE

by the way if you dont have a torque multiplier: The Torque specs are 300Nm + 70° 70° because the torque multiplies only torque, so 60Nm * 5 are 300Nm but the degrees are lost due to friciton For that kind of torque, you will need a 3/4" Breaker bar and a 21 mm socket
