Toyota is not in big trouble. Quite the opposite. They have the new 2025 Camry hitting dealers now (I think I may buy one). I bet they will sell millions of those cars. The Rav4 and Corolla are still selling well. Toyota also has a more reasonable approach to EV development.

Debris left in manufacturing..... main bearing failure. Sounds like Hyundai/Kia. Those engines started failing back with the 2011's and from what i hear is still happening... Hope toyota fixes this quicker that Hyundai/kia.

Now is the time to steal one ! They all our not pigs! The first Corvette Fuelies were a nightmare until we figured how to tune them to roar! Now look how quick u can sell one for substantial profit. How about the ride and handling of the 65 Mustang 2+2 ,not even close to the same year Stingray. Toyota has been sabotage because i have one of there products and at 160,000 miles the whole vehicle is still total quality compared to any other make period!

Talking about Chinese cars. I currently live in Central America, and still drive my 2006 4Runner V8 Sport Edition, with 45,000 original miles. I recently drove a friend's Chinese BYD car. I never thought I would be impressed with any Chinese cars! The fit and finish, and interiors were amazing. Chinese cars are everywhere in Central and South America. Heaven help U.S. car manufacturers if Chinese cars are allowed into the U.S.!

Japan as a whole is in trouble. from government, to financial, to reproduction rates of the citizens.... unsure if that's affected their engineering etc of things like with Toyota ....

I'll take any Japanese car over anything made in the states, including Japanese cars assembled in the US. Fit, finish, reliability is better than anyone else. Cars are more complex than ever. Engines produce reliably 100 hp/L in many cars. Yes, they will have more problems, even from a good manufacturer. My current car has 0% US/Canadian parts content and was made in Ota, Japan. Flawless.

Not at all. By definition xenophobic means "a dislike or prejudice of people from other countries". Not the case at all I am a protectionist of our economy and a realist. I am aware that the global economy causes competition amongst countries and some countries pollute far more than others. I think calling people racists or xenophobic is highly irresponsible and immature. People lose jobs over accusations amd before making one please be aware of the meaning and implications. Loose lips sink ships.
