congrats on your new T2 soldering station, you're gonna love it! I didn't know how much easier this work is with a proper station until I got one. I see you're using the bent tip (C210-020) it works best when you use the mid-section, not the actual tip. For this job I prefer to use the knife tip (C210-018) it has the best thermal conductivity properties (especially working with a wick and as you mentioned, working with QFN chips, which I do often) Keep up the great work man!

Thanks, I did use it at the time as it was what came with the main box with it, later on I unpacked the rest and found another 3 tips, one knife and two conical. I do need to buy more tips still! A set of chisel tips for sure. BTW, those have like a small rubbery sleeve on them, not sure if I need to get rid of it? I does come off easily!
