Great video, these are the things I have done AFTER I bought a 100km 200 series 4 years ago . I was shocked after I opened the airbox with the amount of dust downstream of the air filter. I may have dodged a bullet, the turbos look ok although I struggled to get a really good view of the LHS. Injector values look good with highest deviation -0.8. She starts first kick so that's good. Love the car, it's used a touring vehicle only, which is what it was made for.

I have a VDJ78 2007 V8, 340k. Whenever it starts I have a ticking noise and seems to become less when warmed up, but still noticeable. All the experts tell me that’s normal for that motor. I have had injectors checked, turbo checked no blow by or any dusting. Would you call it normal or should I have something else checked.

@@enginecare1417 does that include new fuel system and turbo since no engine builder will warranty an engine without that. Dont forget the cooling system as well! $9890 will be the tip of the iceberg

All Toyota's years of making offroad vehicles and they cant even make an intake system that works. Such over rated, over priced piles of shit. Yeah check the injectors for over compensation as this will coast you minimum $5000 to have replaced and Toyota injectors are known to be dogshit even after all these years of common rail engines. Dont forget to check the air flow meter, the boost sensor and the rest of the turbo control system as that is also all dogshit. But hey, if that checks out, have fun buying the most over priced vehicle in Australia!
