Unless there's some way of digitally recreating the moment I guess we'll never know, I've watched the footage and the camera doesn't pick it up but then replays weren't that clear in 1979.

@@sovietonion72 They dug up the ABC footage (people usually see the Ch 7 video) which was a shot from a slightly different angle & it shows the ball was in. Harmes liked to prevaricate with his answer to wind up Collingwood fans. lol
