Toyota MR2 4AG 20V Blacktop pure engine sound

Attacking a few hairpins in my 1988 Toyota MR2 Hardtop with a 4A-GE 20V Blacktop engine and a C160 6-speed gearbox swap.

@Bavarian Banshee Haha, CH here just another acc. update after 3 years posting this. I now own a 1990 Honda Civic Si with a dohc zc swap. On the track in the summer most weekends now too and living off perogies, noodles, mac n cheese, fries. life is great

I think the trick to making a 4 cylinder sound good is the emphasise the intake noise. Exhaust noises tend to sound farty. Overall this has a nice tone but the exhaust noise is actually quite subdued and the intake noise does the talking.

Coming from expirience this car is a poor mans ferrari. Well balanced, rear engine, screaming motor that actually loves to rev all the way. And you can find them in decent shape under 3000.
