My 1st season I've watched of Nascar and I don't get why people say "Nascar is boring?" Yes it's different, but it's been excellent to watch! - 9 races in 8 different winners... (What does Danny Hamiln have to do to win a race this season?)

I would expect Jimmie to struggle in very first Indycar race at a track he has never been to racing with a full IndyCar field, while Alex is racing at a familiar track with a familiar team and the same drivers he has been racing with/against for a few years by now.

I originally would give this a F grade, but the racing was pretty good, especially for 1st place, surprising finish, and also good racing, specificlly the last 100 laps, so I'll give this a B grade.

Getting really tired of watching Hamlin choke. This is why he'll never win a championship. And as for Clint Bowyer's post-race remark that Bowman didn't steal the win...if there ever was a theft in racing that was it. No one is taking away the great job the team did in getting him into position and fine tuning the car to grip-perfection, but a steal is a steal. And Bowman is on my fantasy team too, so I'm glad he won.

The guy had to drive from the back to the front twice and was running matching lap times to Hamlin and Logano the entire race I wouldn’t say he stole it he earned it nobody said truex stole a win last week at martinsville when he passed Hamlin with 20 to go. It’s not to difficult for Hamlin to lead the most laps and be up front all day when your given a front row starting position I think it’s more impressive to drive through the field twice and win the race than lead the most laps because of where he qualified and lose bowman was one of the fastest cars all day and he earned that win not stole it. Like Steve letarte said on motormouths on nbc he doesn’t believe in stealing wins you earn them and bowman beat Hamlin and Logano straight up.

But without the caution he doesn't win and any driver who wins a race by leading the last 20 or so laps because of a caution and getting placed on the front row and never leads before that while the other drivers ahead of him were leading all the laps all race long is when the word 'stealing a race' comes to mind. And I don't think it's a bad word. It just is what it is. When a driver wins a rain-shortened race or a Daytona 500 by leading only the last lap and is a 50-1 longshot or more that's a fluke. Bowman is no fluke and neither is his team. That's why I own him. I'll bring this up on my show tomorrow and ask the two analysts what they think. BTW: You don't think a former crew chief is ever going to use that word when commenting on a race win do you?

@@PrimeSportsNetwork he wasn’t on the front row the final caution though and you can make that same argument about late race cautions last year when bowman was set up to potential win both races at Vegas last year and got screwed by caution it happened and I’m not trying to take anything away from Hamlin he raced a good race but ultimately he was the leader on the final restart got the launch he wanted he just got beat by an equally fast car because Greg Ives made the perfect adjustments on the car which is no easy feat and I honestly think this win was coming he was right there with blaney last week as being the 2 fastest cars at martinsville and had a loose wheel could have won that race because he was able to pass truex and catch Hamlin on long green flag laps he just hasn’t had the luck Hamlin has in fact no driver has had the luck Hamlin has had this season but eventually just like every other driver he will start having bad luck happen to him as well it’s just how racing is.

no... bowman just showed up strong and he also had to work way harder than hamlin because bowman doesnt drive the best car in the field... which takes much more skill to win in a good but not amazing car

@JoshuaW_2 definitely Bowman stole the win. If there where 3 more laps he would have lost. I am NOT a Denny fan and not a Bowman fan, but when a caution comes out at the perfect time, and the race ends just before you are passed because you aren't able to keep the lead more than 10 laps, and the guy who is about to pass you led 100s of laps, you stole the race.
