The boot is a bit of a deal breaker. I think when Toyota finally comes to their senses and releases a 5 door Kakadu I will buy one.

150 owner here. I had a 250 GXL on order, but cancelled as soon as I saw the ridiculous boot layout in person. It is truly dreadful as you lose so much space and the lip is stupidly high. I wouldn’t even be able to open my car fridge in situ. Why doesn’t Toyota release a 5 seat version of the GXL? Not everyone needs 7 seats. I was not prepared to fork out the extra $13k for the 5 seat Altitude and the GX misses a lot of important kit.

we disagree ... third row isn't an improvement because it's compromised by lack of movement of second row, and feet/legs are not as well positioned as Series 150 offered

Good luck getting any more than 2,000 K's on a full tank of AdBlue when towing a heavy load. This car is a disaster !

I dont think this is targeted at the old towing market. The smaller fuel capacity will be a real problem compared to the older models. From looking at the boot options, wondering who the target market is ?
