Toyota Prius C Snow Driving

Driving in the snow with my Prius C in Kirkland, WA a day after Christmas 2021.

I drove 100 miles yesterday on slick, and slushy roads. Because it's light, it's a little susceptible to being jerked around in slush and because it's low to the ground it can't push through deep snow, but overall it handles from fine too pretty darn good. I could have driven an Avalon or a F350 Super duty Power stroke. I drove the Prius, got 50 mpg, and enjoyed the drive on very slick roads.

Which Snow Tires do you have?

I have the same car (2015 Prius C) in Seattle. I unfortunately do not have snow tires so I havent drove for almost a week now. This car does not have a lot of power to go up the icy hills in Seattle like how some of the other cars can get away with not having snow tires.

​@@grantreemo7789no. It's just slow and the traction control is overly aggressive. I do fine with winter tires.

Haven't been stuck since putting winter tires on mine. It does great in the snow! I need a traction control disable mod.
