I'd like to be the 1st to say this is a very fair +/- car review. I REALLY like the rear view cameras, and am going to add "Qi" wireless charging inside of my LS-400s' center console.

The rear view camera is a great example of implementing technology that really works great. The Ioniq 5 also hasn't got a rear wiper, but it has a rear view camera. However, they both get dirty in rainy weather, thus blocking your rear view. This works way better on the Prius. Thanks for watching Joe!

It was one of the best kept secrets in the automotive industry. It debuted in Los Angeles before the 2022 Auto Show. I have the Prime XSE Premium which is the top trim level in the USA. I got it in blue about 2 months ago. I love it. The low end torque in EV mode makes the car fun to drive around the city. It really feels like an all EV car.

lucky you you got a blue! I only saw one here in Canada my first one in MAY! I got guardian grey because it's the one I found available! But wish I had blue since it's only available on XSE but we got yellow also here!

The steering is precise, the amount of assist can be adjusted via the drive mode selector. Even in it's lightest mode (most assist) there is a nice weight and feel. The CVT is ofcourse the power split device based on a planetary gear set. In comparison with the prior models, the current Prius has a lot more power, so it doesn't has to rev all that high to produce power. Especially this plug-in version is pretty laid back and delivers power with easy. That results in a smooth but firm acceleration without the typical engine roar we used to know from a Prius.
