thanks for the videos, picked up my prime advanced last week and loving it so far, first thing I did was the split screen setting! Thanks for taking the time and posting these! Still can't figure predictive efficient driving -_- manual says to look and navigation manual and I haven't found anything about it

hellodlo are you in a cold place? how is the battery range in cold?
@hellodlo

compared to the rest of the USA i don't think its cold. Only had it a week. Today while leaving for work it was 31degrees F and the range stated 23.5, when I first purchased it it said 22. It's garage kept as well.

I have a 2020 Prime Limited. It only take 2 hrs for me Level 2 charger. Seems all these setting are a hassle. I just plug it it then go. Seems over engineered. The EV range is only 25-30 miles so I’m not sure what all this does for me.

can you schedule in the setting that I want it to charge say from 10:00pm to 6:00am only is therer a way to do that. or you only can choose departure time and thats it. the reason why I am asking is becuase from 10pm to 6am I have off peak rates?

Yes, you can set the schedule to charge between certain hours, and you can have it charge STARTING at anytime between that schedule or END by the schedule end time, sometime right before you target leaving the house. It has been recommended by many experts that charging the battery packs fully right before leaving in the morning would be more ideal than charging right after offpeak time starts and then letting it cool down for hours before driving.

Were you able to figure this out? Can you set Start and End times like a Nissan Leaf easily offers? This system feels over complicated. My cheap rates are the same times as yours

Could you go into more detail on climate prep? I must be doing something wrong. Cool weather where I live. The car does not does not feel any different when it should be warm. I have the premium trim.

If you turn on the Climate Prep on your charging schedule, it should automatically turn on the Climate Control prior to the end of the schedule and match whatever temperature you had before you turn off the car. So it depends on the previous temperature you set.

I noted you said it "should" not it will. Have you actually attempted to use this feature? I have tried without success. The dealership had the service manager call me when I asked how it works. I was told that it does not actually heat/cool the car. But makes the system receptive to engaging the climate controls quicker. Yes that sounded like a load to me too. Just hoping you had actually tried using this feature.

It sure would be nice if you could set the prep for the heat to come on without the car being plugged in, for example you get off work at 8pm so you set the departure for 7:50pm so the heat in the car would come on, but anyway I tried it and that wont work, it has to be plugged in for the prep to work which is not so beneficial for me. I need my car warm after work.
