the wire is in the way of the side airbags..you can remove those panels to set the cable clear of the airbags.

Hello sir, did he mention the reason behind not hard wiring the dashcam ? One of the reasons i m thinking of buying the A229 Pro is the parking recording feature but you cant use it with the usb power. Does the hard wiring effect the other electronics or battery of the car ?

Hello..there are a few options in hard wiring...since the dash cam will be on if you hard wire, it will consume battery voltage of the existing car battery...a option would be to run a external battery

Thanks for sharing. With the 3-channel setup, did you experience any issues with the 12V battery draining? It seems that when it's in ACC mode (not yet on), the dashcam stays on as well.

For the RAV4, what fuses did you tap into for both ACC & Battery? Also with the specific fuses that you tapped into, have you experienced any random shutdowns during parking mode? For my RAV4, after the 90 second delay to start Parking Mode, my camera ends up shutting off.

Hello...we tapped into a 7.5A fuse which is for the interior USB outlets. No issues using this . The dash cam will turn off when the vehicle is turned off, if you want the camera to stay on then you will have to tap into another fuse. This will drain your battery

Hi..the front cam just has the power and the rear/interior plug in for the camera, the power is also a plug in

Hello...it may appear to be mounted low..but it's just beneath the front sensors, as my colleague is a new and sole driver ,safety is a primary concern and his visibility outward is not blocked by this unit
