@@geo2472 I have had mine for 8 years now and it had already seen its good days before getting to me but still going strong and it’s really hard for me to even think about changing it. They were the last generation of proper RAV4s and the newer ones just wearing the name tag😁

Agree they’re very different now. About 9 years ago we sold a 3 door Mk 1 which had been great. I think it was the fond memories of owning it that led us to get this 06. Over the years we’ve had new cars from Toyota,BMW, Mercedes ect the last one being a Volvo XC90. There’s something really nice about using an older basic car like this Rav 4., and when things go wrong watching help videos from people like your good self to actually getting in to fix it! I would NOT have been taking interior trim panels off, say for example the £70000 Volvo, which actually then makes it a bit boring and less involving to own.

@@geo2472 You are 100% right. There is always that point in life when you appreciate the simplicity over luxury as it brings its own headaches with it. There again we are talking about Toyota RAV4 MKIII which is honestly a miniature version of a Land Cruiser. Simple engine with 4 gears Transmission! Easy to fix and fun to drive. I mean you need to be driver to use it not a gizmo lover or an IT technician 😁. I am glad people like you are still around. 👍

The ones that I have bought were made by OSRAM and the type was 2721-02B. You can also try to google for 286 light bulb which should populate the same type of bulb from other brands. Good luck
