@@aptechknowledge Thank you. When you did the repair, would you say it's necessary to take apart the seat, or is it just the connectors you believe fixed the problem? My pins look straight

@@danielventura236 it was just the connectors. You need to route the wiring and tuck it away so it doesn’t rub or chafe against anything. I did take the seat out and flipped it over to do a clean job. I also slightly, and I mean slightly,bent the male pin in the connector to improve connection, much like you would with a plug for wall outlet.

Toyota did issue a service bulletin for this issue, but it’s often time poorly executed by the techs at the shops. If I’m not mistaken, I spelled all this out in the video and showed it after completion. The light has not come back on since, and it’s been months.

I also attached the service bulletin from Toyota. Read it over carefully and look over your wiring looms passed the connector that goes under the carpet once the seat is out.
