Full size truck space, midsize truck power! These T100s are so underrated. Toyota nailed it, back then, with these. And it still saves more cash than an actual full size truck on 8 cylinders or diesel!

And that is EXACTLY how I want to mount my Uniden XL78. Right now, it's in my semi truck, but when I get finished with trucking, it's going in the dash, under the stereo. And actually, I'm at work right now and haven't looked in a long time, but I think my stereo is a JVC as well.

Hey Shane's persons, I'm planning on putting a 4 inch lift on my T100 as well but I was wondering if you have had yours done yet? If so, can you let me know what you think and what size tires you got for it? I heard the largest tires this truck takes without too much rubbing is 31's but I've been hearing different.

Speaking of gearing, I did a transmission swap on my 1997 t100. I left the 4.3s from the automatic in the front and rear diffs, and just swapped the transmission and t case. I run 31 inch tires, so that seemed to combat the higher ratio. The 4.1 ratio and 29” tire combo turned about the same rpm as 4.3 ratio with 31” tires in fifth gear on highway (2500 rpm). The thing I can’t figure out is why the rpm in my 1993 Toyota T100 is so high. Maybe it is supposed to turn almost 3,000 rpm going 60 in fifth gear?
@ramblerclassicman2215 жыл бұрын
Isaiah Hamilton is your 1993 a 1 ton? How hard is the 3.4 swap? Do you have any plans to supercharge it? What do Highway raps look like with the 4.7 gears? Sorry I have so many questions. I think my 1993 T100 has a 4.1 ratio rear end, and it turns about 2700 rpm on the highway. I looked up the specs and that seems normal for a 1993 T100, according to a couple websites.

Hi, great vid. I am just looking for a T100 in Germany. Despite Toyoto is well known for reliability and long lasting vehicles, there seem to be some concern about rotten chassis rails with the T100. Is this a problem with 1998 one?

I would say its not an issue with the T100. Rust is generally only a problem for those who live in snowy areas (salt treatment)

Starts great then no certain thing triggers her bogging out even if throttled. Stopped going idling doesn't matter when she decides she hard misfires cyl 1 and then dies.... wtf
