The owner of the 2001 Tacoma chose the right shop. He's about to have a new truck. You've done some masterful editing on recent videos. Once again, proving how you control time and space.

Look at all that engine bay access! The simplicity of that engine is refreshing. That is why it is still around, unlike the throwaway cars of today!!!

It seems like there are many modern cars with tons of miles on them, people seem to travel more than ever. But the plastic is a huge long term concern.

On my 92 Toyota pickup the coolant lines actually control the IAC valve. If the coolant is cold the valve opens easing the idle until it reaches a certain temp.
@Darkjedi996 ай бұрын
Suppose to be raising the idle. For some reason I can't edit my comment.
@JimmyMakingitwork6 ай бұрын
The engine computer reads coolant temps and adjust the idle control valve as it desires to control engine speed based on those temps. With the hoses bypassed it would function the same but lose driving ability in colder climates. Hope this clears that up. :)

That sure is one clean Toyota! Unfortunately they didn't fare very well up here in New England. The salt ate them up.

Oh yeah, I’ve seen Rams, F150 and Silverados along with Tacomas breaking when lifted. That road salt is nasty!

I am surprised all that plastic is still pliable under that Toyota hood , my GM and ford products that old has turned the plastic in to fossil plastic dust , LOL.

Yeah there are so many different formulas, they only have trouble on Toyotas with electrical latches. ;)
