Thank you for the video. Made the install super easy. Just a tip for any installers in the future, you don’t need to remove the top 2 bolts to remove the tail light assembly. I realized only after removing the 1st tail light assembly.

You only needed to remove 2 bolts for the tail light removal. I added these to my 2022 and they really do add a lot of light.

The service department at my local Toyota dealership has told me that my new 2022 is not Pre wired and there is no deck light switch installed in the dash, I have the SR5 package 4x4 access cab. I already the lights prior to purchase of my truck but they just arrived today.

I think if you have the switch for the cab bed light then youll have the wiring

@@mr_unsane , Yes the wiring harness was the same. I was able to complete the project in less than 30 minutes.

They tell you that so you pay what they charge so they can get money for it. If you weren’t sure just take the tail light out and check. Never trust anyone at the dealer

Only if you have the cab light facing the bed and the switch inside the truck by your left knee

@@mr_unsane - Yes sir.. you are correct. I found that out. You can still install it but you’d have to order the entire wiring harness and switch for the dash.

You have to press the clip button type on the bottom. Installed mine in 10 mins.
