It took me a while to confirm this online (back when I was sourcing mine) but these stiffeners also DO NOT interfere w/Decked drawers if anyone is curious.

Mine have not rusted yet. FL, wet climate no salt. I changed the hardware to black oxide instead of what came with it. The hardware I used is rusted. Thanks for watching.

Nice install. I mocked mine up, then installed the bed rack before finishing up. Gotta pop all that out just to drill the holes now. P.S. I thought you'd be taller. LOL

ok newb question, 2 parter maybe? would you get these if a.) you dont plan on off roading but maybe hauling stuff in bed? b.) if you bought taco used, would you get these anyway so bed stays intact see first part of question as to why i ask these cause i would like to know

Answer to both is yes. Could you live without them, sure. This is more insurance than anything else. The bed is composite and will flex. Thanks for watching.

Are these interchangeable between driver/passenger side?

Yes, same piece. They can only be installed one way. They need to follow the lines of the bed up towards the top.

There have been people with a ton of bed flex. Check the forums. It’s common if you wheel and have heavy loads. Thanks for watching.

When it comes to my Taco, I absolutely give deep thought behind every dollar that I spend on it because that is my family's overlanding rig and I see to it that it is functional and free of needless weight; even an extra 5 pounds of dead weight is money spent at the pump. With that said, I do indeed splurge elsewhere on needless things on a whim, guilty as charged. Good vid and good install. I hope your adventures take you far.
