Most automotive manufacturers have a specific set of numbers (code) that translates to the cuts for the key and the blank used. The codes are sometimes on a lock cylinder, sometimes available through NASTF. But you don't need a code if you use a decoder tool like a lishi.

Toyota H transponder has a 128bit encryption. The Toyota G transponder has 80bit encryption. Big difference in security, at least in the beginning when H came out....#LockBoss
