Thanks for watching👍 I love taking these cars up to the local track for a run, it is the best place to test them out. Thanks again for tuning in🍻🇦🇺

Collects vintage nitros AND runs them?! Subbed up homey G. Rare to find another nitro nut around, especially one that's not afraid to put some fire in the belly of their vintage stuff!

Thanks mate👍 Just as Mr Tamiya intended, I love nothing better than running these old girls, some get run harder than others but everyone gets a go. I just have one TG10R that is waiting for its first track day 😬🍻🇭🇲

@@korc2157 They weren't meant to sit on a shelf and look pretty; there's a whole lineup of static models for that!

@@TestECull Yep😁 and I have quite a few of those static models too, from back in the day. Definitely no RC shelf queens in my garage, thats for sure👍

The hobby is very sick. I've had retail pester me to find out what I'm running and when I say its nitro cars they call me stupid, and others have no idea they exist. The boss of hearns hobbies had no idea that different temperature glow plugs existed and he wanted me to teach him stuff for free. Metro hobbies refuses to sell the fuel.
@TestECull3 жыл бұрын
@@dreyn7780 Ye its sad. But its not overly surprising given the world we live in. Nobody wants to sit down and learn anything, they just want an ez mode limitless font of power at their beck and call. My LHS still does plenty of nitro stuff, thankfully. Place is a rare gem, a true mom and pop shop run by a couple passionate about the hobby they sell and I am not ashamed to say I spend more than I probably should in there. Land sea or air.

Good video the tgr is more nimble than i thot. Still havent run my tgx yet. Are u in the Tamiya tgr, tgx group?
@korc21574 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, thanks for watching👍 Yeah it handles quite well, especially with the old Tamiya slicks that are on it, I can only imagine how much better it could be with a set of quality slicks. Im not on FB so Im not in any special interest groups, I am however on Instagram and have made some great contacts over there🍻🇭🇲

Hi mate, this is a long discontinued product from Tamiya, they do pop up on selling sites every now and then. You just have to keep an eye open for them👍

Another user. People don't have any morals or humanity anymore. From now on, approach strangers like robin hood did. Users will waste your life and get you in big trouble.

Thanks for the video. In Victoria these nitro cars got banned from almost every RC track. Apart from mine I've only seen 1 other being used in my entire lifetime. Now we've seen yours. I've had to beat culture mining to get some and teach myself all about them. I can see your car and your driving could benefit from further tuning and basic track theory. The early driving performance is showing both understeer and oversteer and wheelspin and excessive braking conditions. You fail to realize its a complex circle track which contains tasks for you to complete so you can make it round the circle. You're late at braking. The car's wheelspinning when you want it to grip the road. You don't arrive at corners in a position where you're ready to do any cornering technique. Your fundamental knowledge is missing. Start over with just a basic circle race track and graduate to the complex track you have there. Your car is capable of 100 times better performance than what's in this video. Approach the corner with the intention that you're going to put a load into those suspension shocks. So do all your braking when the car's in a straight line. Then turn into the corner and work out if your car has been designed for early acceleration or mid corner or late acceleration. GM car's are early acceleration designs. Ford's are mid corner designed and ferrari's are late acceleration designed. You've got a lot to learn.

This is what you get when a pan car has sex with a tgx.
