If 4K buys all the parts, they should deduct the value of the substituted components. Shocks,struts,arms,axles... It’s far overpriced for the factory build. Making you pay for two of everything.

If you get it from the factory then its just the 3995, its if you get the kit to replace what is on it that they charge the labor for the install

Subtract the price of the deleted stock parts from the kit price and you’ll have what it should cost. Delete $2500.00 for the value of stock and add back $4000.00 for TRD and you get a $1500.00 upgrade. If you upgrade to a larger engine, they don’t make you pay for the smaller one you didn’t buy.

sweet, have a 23 1794 with trd package, i swapped the tires to 275-65-20 (34's) before my lift was installed, i wished i had gone with 35's from the beginning.

I may have missed it, but what was the OTD price for that truck? I don't see the lift as an option on Toyota's builder tool online. Does this have to be added to a TRD equipped truck, or could you add the lift to an SR5 with an SX package?

thanks for the real-life preview of the 3" factory kit. Seen it in the configurator. I like the non-lifted TRD has RED half shafts = Cool. Wonder if diff lengths than the lifted.

Any lift kit or levelling kits I have used have ALWAYS affected how the truck tows a heavy load. Most of the time it makes the steering outright scary as hell.

Most (if not all) lift kits don’t have the amount of OEM parts this has. Raising the CG does have negative steering consequences for sure but this kit is not slapping a lift block or coil over

Hey so I have 2 questions. First can you try to remote start and see if they fixed the shut off after opening with the door. Second question is what tire size is good for the lift until it rubs on the sway bar, maybe 34s? Because they look like the stock ones on that truck 🤷‍♂️

Noticed this on the 2024 Tundras w/ TRD pkg. w/ the 3" factory lift they don't have fog lights . You can see this on the video here and have seen the same on other pics. Let me know what you find out ?

There is a dial on the inside that you are able to toggle, regular head lights are remote controlled, about 5 different pitches, and can point down with a turn of the knob. You can literally point them down 6 feet in front of the truck.

If the factory does it no install charge, if a dealer does it, cost of lift + install, it doubles. If the factory does the lift, they tune all the sensors to the lift, if the dealer does it, I’ve heard there are sensor issues, possibly permanently lose the ability to use cruise control.

@@stevenwelchtoyota It's a fact. No one lifts a vehicle and still runs the stock tires unless they are too cheap to put on a larger sized off road tire. The point of a lift is to increase ground clearance, approach, and departure angles as well as accommodate larger tires which also increase the aforementioned clearance heights. Setting that truck up like it is in this video is a travesty to the brand and their products. I don't know what looks more foolish, the lifted truck with the tiny stock tires or shyster who is trying to sell it that way.

Yes, clearly the dealership is trying to rip people off and no doubt charge even more for the rims and larger tires. A person is far better off to take the truck to a real off road shop and outfit it with quality aftermarket parts, not the cheap garbage they are offering here.

My 2024 trd of road wasn't lifted and I added this loft to it and they took off the wheels it came with and I got on some 35s. BTW mine is in solar octane. It's all matches pretty sick.

They are limited in supply and very hard for a dealer to get due to demand. The factory lift is a new option so they are most likely not aware of it.

I got mine and they delete the fogs "due to state laws" and them being too high. Well in CA the limit is 30in and the fogs sit at 29in so it would be legal. Headed back to the lot tomorrow to have them installed since I paid for them.
