I have Vitz 2007 1.3 4WD. Its a wonderful car. Very spacious, comfortable, and quite powerful. I have gone to northern areas and its amazing. Only issue I have faced is its ground clearance, I mostly travel with family and when there are 4 to 5 passengers, it hits ground even on very small breakers. I had to install spacers for better height becasue it used to hit the ground when getting into garage which is higher than the street level. Fuel average is as said in review, 9-10 in city and 11-13 on highway, depending on the speed and foot heaviness. AC is kamaal! Overall I think it is great hatchback car in this price range.

I have the 2008 Model Vitz 1000 cc. It has 8 airbags. Gives me 14 to 14.76 km per litre in city and 17.75 km per litre on highway. Very spacious car it is even more wide than my 2010 Honda City. I don't over-accelerate nor brake too frequently. Also I have driven it on rough roads, it is very sturdy compared to other cars no work other than oil change etc. Even after these many years.

@new gadgets is the engine powerful enough? It is usually many small things that combine to give you bad fuel average. You need to check with a workshop. Some seasoned mechanic may help you. Always use the recommended tire size, spark plugs, etc. Throw out extra weight from the luggage area. Get your fuel injectors checked.

@new gadgets see if the wheels are aligned and balanced. Make sure Brake shoes and brake pads are not obstructing the wheel rotation when not engaged. And yes, get the oxygen sensor and throttle body cleaned.

I had 2012 model vitz and I kept it for 5.5 years and it was a great great experience. Mine one was 1000cc and it gave me around 13-14 average on local. Car was Solid and I didn't had any issues at all.

Great idea to check the cabin noise kindly do a similar test for AC as well thermometer will be a good choice for example 1st 2 minutes of AC cooling on idle so that it show how fast the cooling of different cars and please do review of wagonR AGS

0-100 is slow af for a 1.3 in a small hatch. Vitz 1.0 and 1.3 cvt have below par response under 40kph anyway. Though very nice build quality otherwise. In small hatchbacks with CVT I've only found Daihatsu cast to have good low end responsiveness.

I owned same varient for last 4 years..v practicle car,pick is amazing,most annoying things are engine noise,since CVT gear shifting and RPM correlation is not good,noise feel..fuel average is almost 10 in city with AC on-long motor ways,13-15 km/L depend on ur foot heaviness..ground clear is v bAd with 4-5 passengers ,though i brought it to northern areas,even in shoran it ascended with out any problem..honest opinion, Otherwise “sadi hai to bus changi hai... “

Simply go to some professional programer cum mechanic and ask him for CVT calibration. He simply connect the diagnostic tool to you car and re learn the CVT caliberation. Also ask him to scan complete car and remove all trouble codes from history.

I have no idea about this obsession of 0-100 km/h in Pakistani car reviews. Does it even matter in cities and even on motorways?. You can still reach your destination in 1-2 minutes later if you have slower acceleration. Besides most Pakistanis never come on time. So I think this acceleration part is just to show off and nothing else.

this is just heirsay. maintenance is not cheap. CVT Transmission fails if not maintained properly. fuel avg solely depends upon engine oil used and style of driving. best on 0w-20 grade oil , 1KR-FE easily gives 13/14 if these things are considered
