Brilliant - just bought my 2018 Yaris and was worried about this pressure warning which came on about a week after having it despite making sure the pressures were correct on my car. The handbook diagram relating to the reset button made me think I just didn't have it in my car!! I would never ever have thought of delving down there!! Thanks for such a clear video.

Thanks, glad to find this video after spending nearly 2 hrs looking for this reset button on my rave 4 2014, the Manuel that came with the car says it’s on right side of the steering wheel column, but in actual after check8ng this video discovered the button is locked just on top of the Break paddle. Cost 100 for replacement! If you have a puncture you have to either replace tyre or get a tube put in!! Sensors look like a con job to me!!

Hey people, Toyota monitors the spare tyre pressure as well. So by all means reset it if your tyres are ok but, when I pumped up the spare (the tyre in the boot), the tyre pressure light stopped coming on and I didn’t have to reset anything. All my tyres were fine just the spare needed pumping.

The face lift version of this yaris does now have a diagram in the manual which highlights that the button is underneath the dashboard. However, the diagram is not very clear. The first time I looked at it, I didn't realise it was under the dash. There is no caption which explains that it is underneath the dashboard either.

Mine has suddenly started to come on when I get in the car when there has been a frost and the temperature is at 2 °C. If I drive for a few miles it goes off. The tyre pressure seems fine!

Is it work if you change your summer - winter tires on your car? I mean if the summer - winter tires assembled to the different rims (Alloy wheels for summer tires and Steel for winter tires) but TPMS sensors paired to the car. I bought this car about 1 week ago, I don't have too much information from this, user manual does not mention this... Just mention this button, but how use does not mentioned push a quickly or hold etc...

The system has sensors built into each valve, you can only assign 4 sensors at once, making it impossible to have 2 sets of wheel without making a trip to the garage for reprogramming. you could just swap the winter tyres onto the standers rims, that would be my choice, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

@@24crossman24 Hi, this is something I wass struggling with also. But it CAN be done, provided your Toyota "knows" it has two sets of wheels (this had to be programmed at some point by the Toyota dealer). This information is actually very difficult to find, I got to it at a danish Toyota dealer webpage and their YT video. I had to google translate it thou. Here goes how it should be done (and it works for my Auris TS hybrid 2018): Make the tire changeover and set the correct pressure (I use the small 12V compressor the car came with). Turn the car on by twice pressing the POWER button but do not touch the pedals. Then press three times the tire pressure reset button - three slow clicks. The tpms warning light should now blink for approx 2 minutes and then go off. Now your car knows it has the other set of wheels. If it still blinks or just is permanently on, turn the car off, and then on again and reset the pressure (holding the button for 5 seconds). I hope it works for you.
