André Stutz Soares No idiotic question at all. It's quite complicated. This is what i've found. "Those are optical slip angle sensors. They measure the angle of the vehicle's heading relative to the ground. By having one in the front and rear you can work out the chassis angle relative to the corner radius. They're used for tyre caracterisation & optimising car setup. They work by tracking points on the ground and measuring where the point ends up a fraction of a second later. Expensive stuff, most race teams can't have them permanently on the car!" Antworten ·

***** Thanks mate! I can't wait for 2017. The car and the team looked very promising. At the moment it's hard to say who's going to be their works drivers. Among Stephane Sarrazin who's their main test driver there are various youngsters that have the chance to prove themselves and drive the WRC on various occasions. One of them who was driving in Germany was young frenchman Eric Camilli.
