Since it uses v6 now i hope it's cheaper(even by a bit would make a big difference already) than the v8 LCs.. it's really a dream suv! There's only and only one Land Cruiser! Kudos Toyota! 🍻

Abracadabra ! This is the markx v6 engine that was discontinued in markx in December 2019 in action. Same engine, bigger capacity better performance. Anyone with a markx will attest to that, the super fast Toyota luxury car that didn't sell so much now in a bigger body to replace the not so successful v8 Toyota engine that was a fuel guzzler and performed dismally . Toyota wisdom of marrying the 4 cylinder prado engine with the 8 cylinder v8 to it's average v6 the 6 cylinder engine. Bravo Toyota. You got it right. On spot !

Turbos are more expensive than additional cylinders/displacement.
Give us this engine to power a GR Alphard for Asia market !

Great video - but made 3 years before the #1 crankshaft main bearing durability problem became widely known. Hopefully a fix is in the works because Toyota main bearings have had a long standing reputation of up to 1,000,000 miles of durability.

If i have to choose, i prefer a plug in hybrid system with a simple Atkinson cycle engine, Toyota knows how to build hybrids, i don´t see why not (and price is not a problem, because i guess that this engine is not cheap, neither the complete car).

They're chasing Rowan Atkinson's cycle engines i guess.

This is a petrol engine or diesel engine? the animation can see spark plug and the spark plug ignition, that's mean it should be a petrol engine.

New 300 looks pretty ordinary in the front end. Hope the small engine lasts, as Landcruisers reputation was built on reliability, endurance and longevity.
