2020 I think. Stupid ploy to entice people to spend $3K more for the XLE Premium package w/ the 19" wheels, softex seats, and 4-way adjustable passenger seat.

@@degausserrr 2020 , Toyota also offered a "TRD" RAV4 without a skid plate and Without a V6 engine, even though the Camry TRD had a V6 engine standard... Recently, Toyota's Senior Management seems to be enjoying Ripping Off their customers .

I got the xle premium with the leather interior. $39k out the door. I think it’s gets just about 28mpg combined.

So did I. I've gotten up to 28 with me checking it but I don't always notice it. Also, I've only gone a few miles highway since buying it just over a week ago. Most of my mileage is Intercity. .

I keep thinking of trading my 2014 in, but then I consider the cost. And having to deal with the new tech. My infotainment system is stuck in the constant reboot loop and my remote keyfobs don't work, and I think of it as tgr Luddite trim level. 😄

I just purchased '24 XLE but Hybrid. Identical to the one in video. Paid MSRP. No markups or additional mandatory dealership packages. Let me know if you need any help. I purchased from a dealership in northern Illinois. P.S. Please don't pay market adjustment.

Maybe because it has a bunch of accessories added on, check the sticker and it will tell you all the add ons. I seen an XLE for $39,000 but it had heated seats, power liftgate, moonroof, mudflaps, floor liners, wheel locks etc. all that stuff adds up.
