@@PROutdoors94 Or the engine bay got larger as these new complicated powertrains, especially hybrid, look like a web and take up a lot of space. It's not as bad as the Tacoma but so far that's my only disappointment looking at these videos.

Lost cargo space as well. The cargo floor is six inches higher to accommodate the hybrid battery under there.

Mudbath is sweet, but a lot of glossy black to get scratched up! Imagine most that can afford the trd pro can also afford to have the fenders wrapped easy enough. The design of it overall is beautiful. Nice work Toyota! Hope the new powertrain lives up to the name. Moved my Landcruiser deposit over to the 4runner🔥 Those torque numbers are insane, better have some pretty beefy parts to handle it!

Great video Jeff. Have you folded down the rear bench on a hybrid version? I am hoping that since the rear cargo deck is raised because of the batteries, that when the seats are folded down, it will be even with the deck, making it totally flat. Can you shed any light on this? I really like the new design and I am leaning towards the 4Runner over the Land Cruiser, especially if there is no slight incline when the seats are folded.

I have a fifth gen and I’ve been waiting on the new 4Runner. To complex and to many failure points. I think I’m going to take a look at the Lexus GX. Toyota got away from the simplicity I loved.

Sheldon Brown should've not get involved with the front design of this vehicle. This is only for Japanese engineers such as Mr Keita Moritsu who designed the back from the cenyer pillar.

How is it ok with DOT to have that GIANT 55" TV on your dashboard?!? Its so ugly and out of place. LC 250 and 300 has it right. This looks so out of place. Same thing with the Tundra. Beautiful awesome trucks ( sans gloss black anything ) with a terribly thought out ( or not ) screen. Blah...
